Juventus are reportedly positioning themselves into the favourites position to sign Luis Suarez. The striker has been tipped to leave the club this summer with the latest stories suggesting the Serie A giants are already getting a deal ready for the Premier League’s top scorer.

Liverpool target Iker Casillas has admitted he could be tempted into a Premier League move before he retires. Liverpool are thought to be one of the clubs in the hunt to sign the Spaniard who could move on if Jose Mourinho leaves Real Madrid as manager this summer.

The agent of Brazilian star Dede has claimed the player has decided to join Corinthians. The defender had been linked with a move to the Premier League with Liverpool one of the interested parties, but he seems to have opted for a more familiar move inside his own country.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers says it will be an advantage to the club if they are not in Europe next season. Liverpool are chasing a top four spot and face a complicated battle to qualify for next season’s Europa League. He’s said playing in neither will allow Liverpool to consolidate as a top four side.

Jordan Ibe has spoken of the fact he nearly turned down a move to Liverpool. The winger joined the Anfield club from lower league side Wycombe Wanderers and has impressed in the club’s youth ranks, leading to suggestions he could get into the senior squad for next season.

Jordan Ibe has revealed he is watching videos of former Manchester United player Cristiano Ronaldo in order to improve. Ibe has put in some impressive performances for the Under-21 team this season and has named the Real Madrid star as someone he bases his game around.

Midfielder Lucas has signed a two-year contract extension with the club. The Brazilian has been one of the most important players for the team in recent weeks and his deal will now expire in 2017, extending the previous contract which expired at the end of the 2015 season.

Mark Lawrenson has criticised Liverpool midfielder Lucas. The Kop legend says the Brazilian is not producing his best form at the moment and has to do more to live up to the sort of performance and expectation levels he’s created for himself so far this season.
