Andrei Arshavin's Arsenal contract expires at the end of the season, and according to reports today, the Russian could be ready to quit football altogether. He will be 32 by time his deal ends. The attacker has not made a Premier League start this season, but his high wages and reluctance to leave London put clubs off moving for him in January. it is claimed Arshavin has fallen out of love with the game, and if an exciting offer does not come in for him he could be ready to call time on his career altogether.

Young Arsenal defender Martin Angha is ready to quit the club, according to reports in Germany, which claim he is a medical away from agreeing a deal with German side Nurnberg. Angha is the Swiss under-19 captain and has been tipped as a future star, making two starts for Arsenal this season in both the League Cup and Champions League, but is thought to see a switch as giving him a greater chance of first team football, with his contract up in the summer.

Arsenal's under-21 side lost 3-2 to Liverpool last night, but it saw a debut for 16-year-old whizkid Gedion Zelalem. We have taken a look at how viewers raved at his performance, and you can see his role in a wondergoal scored by fellow German midfielder Serge Gnabry here.
