Arsenal weekend latest: Including Loic Remy and Iker Casillas

News and gossip from the weekend at The Emirates.

Arsenal were celebrating being back in the top four until Chelsea grabbed a crucial win against Sunderland this Sunday. The jump in league position came after beating West Brom 2-1 at The Hawthorns.

Two goals from Tomas Rosicky proved the difference despite a late rally after James Morrison’s penalty and Per Mertesacker’s red card.

Arsenal will reportedly make a move for QPR striker Loic Remy should Harry Redknapp’s side fail to stave off relegation from the Premier League.

The French international has impressed since arriving at Loftus Road but is expected to be moved on if they do finish in the bottom three.

He set owner Tony Fernandes back a cool £8 million in January and would be sold for a similar price.

In a pretty shocking and rather sensational headline Arsenal have been linked with a move for Spanish number one and Real Madrid stalwart Iker Casillas!

The Madridista has fallen foul of Jose Mourinho and after breaking his hand lost his first-team spot to Diego Lopez at the Bernabeu.

He would reportedly cost a whopping £17 million.

Arsenal will battle with Southampton for Atletico Madrid forward Adrian Lopez this summer. The Spanish international has had a struggle of a season and could go for as little as £8.5 million.

Arsenal are set to receive an £8million bid for Bacary Sagna from Paris Saint Germain. Arsenal would be willing to accept the offer and use the money to raid Sochaux for Sebastian Corchia or Feyenoord for Daryl Janmaat.

Finally and Piers Morgan has been at it again. This time the broadcaster has had a pop at goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski for his performance against West Brom suggesting he was weak off his line at corners and should have done better with the penalty goal.

What are your feelings on everything Arsenal this weekend?
