Liverpool Latest: Including West Ham Team News and Carroll Future

All of the latest Liverpool news.

Liverpool have no fresh injury worries ahead of the Premier League clash against West Ham United. Martin Kelly, Joe Allen and Fabio Borini are the only absentees, all carrying injuries which are likely to keep them out of the side for the rest of the season.

Andy Carroll’s proposed permanent move to West Ham United appears to be in doubt. Reports have suggested that the Hammers are in no position to pay the £17-18 million asking price for the Liverpool front man, who joined the East London club on loan for all of this season.

Fabio Borini’s agent has ruled out a possible move to Serie A side Fiorentina. Borini’s future at Liverpool has reportedly been thrown into doubt, as he’s been forced to sit out of first team action due to two bad injuries in the current season. Fiorentina are thought to be the club most interested in signing him.

Long term Liverpool target Christian Eriksen has finally been given a price tag. Reports are surfacing suggesting any club that wants to sign the midfielder will have to pay in the region of 15 to 20 million Euros for the Ajax man, who has also been linked with Chelsea and Manchester City.

Paul Ince has effectively ruled out the chance of his son, Thomas, leaving Blackpool. Liverpool have been continuously linked with the Blackpool midfielder but the boss has said if Wilfried Zaha can go to Manchester United for close to £15 million, it’ll take over £20 million for Blackpool to sell his son.

Liverpool are thought to be one of the clubs keeping an eye on Croatian prodigy Marko Dabro. The 16-year-old has reportedly been scouted by several of the top clubs around Europe with Liverpool facing competition from Chelsea in the Premier League for his transfer.

Liverpool are thought to be up against Manchester United and Everton, in a bid to sign Belgian international Toby Alderweireld. The Ajax defender is being linked with a move to England this summer with Liverpool one of the clubs that could be forced to pay upwards of £7 million for him.

Brendan Rodgers has praised the spirit of Luis Suarez this season. Rodgers has admitted he admires the striker for showing a warrior mentality this season, in the face of plenty of people who are quick to criticise for every small mistake he makes at the club.

Brendan Rodgers has claimed striker Luis Suarez should be named player of the year for the Premier League. Rodgers claims the Uruguayan striker deserves the award because of his strike rate and the consistency of his performances for the club throughout the current campaign.
