Arsenal face West Brom at the weekend and have no new injury concerns since yesterday ahead of the important fixture.

Nacho Monreal has recovered from a knock against the woodwork at The Emirates last weekend while Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere have not yet recovered from their respective injuries. Abou Diaby is a long-term absentee.

The Metro report today that Jack Wilshere’s ankle injury is showing no sign of responding to treatment. It is believed Arsenal may consider leaving him out until the end of the season to err on the side of caution considering his previous problems with the joint.

Assistant coach Steve Bould believes that the 2-0 win at the Allianz Arena against Bayern Munich has spurred on his side for a Champions League push at the end of the season. Since picking up the crucial win in Bavaria Arsenal have been on an excellent run of form in the league and now look like forcing a serious challenge to the top four spots.

Anderlecht defender Cheikhou Kouyate has announced he will be leaving the Belgian side this summer and that Arsenal have been monitoring his progress. The Senegalese international centre-back stated his desire to play in the Premier League but the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Zenit St Petersburg and Anzhi Makhachkala have also been linked with his signature.

Arsenal have reportedly set their sights on signing Montpellier midfielder Remy Cabella. The playmaker impressed during Arsenal’s games against the French champions in the Champions League this season but Montpellier have made it clear that Cabella is not for sale this summer.

Arsenal under-21’s gave up a 1-0 lead to lose 2-1 away to Southampton last night. Craig Eastmond had given the Gunners the lead but goals from Jake Sinclair and Harrison Reed condemned Arsenal to defeat.

Arsenal may lose one of their young talents this summer as Dutch sides PSV Eindhoven and FC Twente are chasing the signing of their Netherlands youth international Kyle Ebecilio who is out of contract at the end of the season may consider a move to get more first-team opportunities.
