Arsenal lose another player to Manchester City... but this time it's a 16-year-old

A 16-year-old star has become the latest player to travel up North from Arsenal to Manchester.

Denzeil Boadu has become the latest Arsenal player to turn his back on the club and sign for current Premier League champions, Manchester City.

They have already lost Emmanuel Adebayor, Gael Clichy and Samir Nasri in moves to the Etihad Stadium and though this is lower profile, it’s happening all over again.

The difference here is that Arsenal released Boadu who they deemed to have no future at the Emirates and no real future in the top flight of English football, despite the number of giant clubs interested in him around the time of his release.

It’s become a worrying trend for Arsenal fans who have continued to see their best players sold, released, moved on or whatever you want to call it, as they have progressed and move on to better things.

Boadu will instantly become part of the academy setup with Manchester City, moving up through the youth ranks until he’s ultimately given a chance at senior level, whether that’s with City or if he’s loaned out to another team.

Arsenal made their decision and they have to live with, fingers crossed for the North London club that this one doesn’t come back to bite them in a couple of years.

Arsenal fans, know anything about him? Are you even bothered by this?
