Chelsea latest: Including Terry Turkey link and “Chelsea is in my heart…”

A round-up of news and views relating to Chelsea over the past 24 hours.

Jose Mourinho has again said he expects that he will return to management in England at some stage, and said that he still has great affection for Chelsea:

"One day naturally I have to be back.

"English football, to Chelsea, to another club … of course Chelsea is in my heart as Inter is, one day I have to be back."

Petr Cech is the latest Chelsea player to reach 100 caps for their country, with the goalkeeper picking up his century for the Czech Republic against Armenia today. The next target for Cech is Karel Poborsky’s record of 118 caps for the Czech Republic.

David Luiz has dismissed the idea that Chelsea will suffer due to the amount of matches they have scheduled over the coming weeks, saying that he hopes to be involved in every game they play:

"I love to play games, I prefer to play games than training for sure. I want to play both games against Southampton and Manchester United and I want to win both matches."

Paddy Power have found an ingenious way to keep the banner mocking Fernando Torres in place outside Stamford Bridge. Their advert was initially on a billboard that the council asked them to remove at Chelsea’s behest, but is now on a van parked just under where the billboard was.

Whilst many of his teammates are on international duty, Torres has been pictured training at Chelsea wearing a protective mask on his face after a collision during the Europa League win over Steaua Bucharest,

Chelsea captain John Terry has been linked with a move to Turkish club Fenerbahce. Terry is in the final year of his contract with the Blues, and is expected to make a decision about his future in the summer after failing to command a regular starting place under Rafa Benitez. However on HITC today, Lewis Doe questions the likelihood of Terry moving to Turkey.

Also on HITC today Jenny Leigh who is better: Frank Lampard or Steven Gerrard? We also look at whether John Terry or Rio Ferdinand is a bigger loss to England.

We also ask if the reports in Germany that Andre Schurrle has £15million release clause that comes into effect in 2014 might help Chelsea make a move for the German this summer.
