The Welsh FA have released a photo of Gareth Bale in training. While it is good to know his fitness is back to normal there will still be worries he could suffer an injury recurrence against Croatia.
Tottenham fans have certainly been left worrying over the fitness of Gareth Bale this week after seeing him struggle in the game against Scotland in Glasgow on Friday night.
He has certainly been the clubs talisman this season and many a Spurs fan has been left anxious over what is actually wrong with him.
Despite it being made clear at the time that Bale simply came off due to complications over a stomach virus many have contemplated that perhaps it was indeed his ankle problem that forced him off.
The Welsh FA have made it very clear that they will not risk Bale if he is injured but maintain that it was only ever a stomach bug that forced him off in the Home Nation tie.
Even Bale himself has made it clear that it was just the dickey belly that forced him off the pitch at Hampden Park via his personal Twitter account:
Just clearing the air... nothing wrong with my ankle. I came off at HT due to the stomach virus I've had all week. Should be ok for Tuesday— Gareth Bale (@GarethBale11) March 22, 2013
But still apprehension remains at White Hart Lane over the complications of a potential injury that could leave Bale out of action.
Perhaps this picture might just help matters:

That is indeed Gareth Bale in training with Craig Bellamy courtesy of the official Welsh FA Twitter page leaving us in no doubt that his ankle must be feeling fine; and that his tummy has stopped its unwanted grumblings.
Now if he can just get through the game unscathed Spurs fans can rest a little easier ahead of a difficult Premier League run-in.
