Liverpool fans can rest easy as reports have emerged suggesting Juventus will not try to sign Luis Suarez. Several sources are claiming the Italian side will switch their attention to out of favour Manchester United forward Javier Hernandez, increasing the chances that Suarez will remain at Anfield.

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard says England are ready for dirty tricks ahead of their next two World Cup qualifiers. England are expected to win the matches against San Marino and Montenegro but Gerrard has admitted he is expecting a physical approach from both sides.

Former Liverpool star Jan Molby has defended striker Luis Suarez. Molby has suggested Suarez’s comments about possibly leaving the club are a simple case of the forward considering his options and nothing more, with no agenda from Suarez to leave the club high and dry.
