Former Paris Saint-Germain player Nene started a fight during the Qatari Stars Cup semi-final between Al-Gharafa and Al-Arabi.
Brazilians are known for their dazzling skills and rapid footwork on a football field, not for the way they go about creating mass brawls in the middle of a game but this is exactly what Nene did playing for Al-Gharafa.
The Brazilian literally walked up behind an Al-Arabi player before punching him in the back of the head to signal a mass brawl of epic proportions. It makes Joey Barton’s actions for Queens Park Rangers against Manchester City look quiet frankly, mediocre.
He had just been sent off and was frustrated with Al-Arabi’s blatant attempts to stop him getting to the referee to talk about the decision. Fortunately for the ref, the match was in injury time so he didn’t have to manage any heated tempers for any great length of time.

Have you seen a bigger mass brawl than that?
