Andreas Weimann’s agent has admitted his player would be tempted by a potential move to Inter Milan. The Austrian’s impressive performances for Villa this season have seen him linked with some high profile moves away from Villa Park. He’s believed to have said it would be an ‘honour’ to wear the Inter shirt.

Aston Villa’s Under-19 side have booked their place in the finals weekend of the NextGen series. The youngsters beat Greek side Olympiakos 1-0 in the quarter-finals to reach the final stage of the competition, which proves Villa have one of the best youth setups in the country.

Gary Gardner has returned to first team training with Aston Villa one month ahead of schedule. The club was unsure over whether Gardner would play any part over the rest of the season after picking up a problem, which has kept him out for the previous seven month.

Paul Lambert doesn’t seem to be ready to drop his youth policy at Aston Villa. Lambert recently praised the youngsters at the club for progressing in the NextGen series and fresh reports have suggested Manchester City youngster Scott Sinclair as a possible transfer target this summer.

Norwich City have thrown their hat into the ring to sign Andreas Weimann at the end of the season. The links surrounding the Villa forward are not going to go away any time soon and Norwich are thought to be one of the Premier League sides ready to put in a solid bid for him.

Villa forward Gabriel Agbonlahor is just one strike away from equalling Dwight York’s goal scoring record at the club. Agbonlahor is currently on 59 goals, which makes him one of the most prolific strikers in the club’s Premier League history. Yorke hit his tally before moving to Manchester United.

Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Guzan has piled the praise onto striker Gabriel Agbonlahor. Guzan says the forward is the type of player the side needs and he’s an example to everyone else at the club over how they should approach the task of trying to stay in the Premier League.
