Transfer Talk: Capoue, Weimann, and Sinclair

Van Persie And Sinclair

Aston Villa and Manchester City players feature with QPR, Arsenal, Norwich City and Everton looking to bring players in.

Bringing you up to date with three of the day's transfer rumours...

Etienne Capoue to QPR

Etienne Capoue is a player who has been linked with Arsenal repeatedly over the past 12 months. A defensive midfielder, thought to be available for around £10 million, he has also been linked with Everton and even Barcelona - prior to the Spanish side buying Alex Song. Now he is being linked with a far less spectacular destination; QPR. A report in Italy claims Capoue is a target for Harry Redknapp, providing they stay up. QPR missed out on fellow French defensive midfielder Yann M'Vila in January so Capoue is a logical alternative, but seeing as the move is dependent on QPR surviving in the Premier League it is perhaps best to call this one a long shot.

Andreas Weimann to Norwich

Aston Villa got one over on Norwich last summer when they tempted their manager Paul Lambert away, in acrimonious circumstances. Now it is reported that the Canaries are plotting revenge by trying to sign one of Villa's top players this season, striker Andreas Weimann. The Austrian is currently stalling over a new contract, with cynics suggesting he is waiting to see if they survive in the Premier League. He has scored 11 goals this campaign and has one year left on his current deal and The Mail claims Norwich want him to solve their own striker problems.

Scott Sinclair to...

Scott Sinclair to Manchester City will go down as one of the season's worst moves, for he has not made a single Premier League start in 2013. If he had been permitted to be loaned out in January he would have gone but FIFA regulations prevented such a move after he played for Swansea on the opening day. Now the Mail report that Aston Villa are hoping to offer him a way out of his predicament, but he has an alternative option in Everton who would offer him the opportunity to remain in the North-West of England.

Which of the three do you think is most likely to happen?
