Sensational goal by Arsenal and Newcastle target wins award

Gabon V South Korea

Arsenal and Newcastle target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has won an award for a spectacular goal he won last month.

Pierre-Emerick Aubayemang is a striker who a lot has been written about over the past few weeks.

His eyecatching performances in France and unique style off the field have seen him dubbed the 'African Neymar' and the 'King of Bling.'

In Ligue One this season he has a staggering 16 goals and 12 assists in 27 games, making it clear to see just why he has been touted as a target for both Arsenal and Newcastle United this coming summer.

The 23-year-old is an international for Gabon, and it's fair to say none of the goals he has scored this season have been quite as unique as this one.

A backheeled flicked volley, scored against Montpellier in February, has just been voted as 'Goal of the Month', by readers of French newspaper L'Equipe.

The chances are you may not have seen it, or much of Aubayemang, so take this opportunity to check it out...
