When the Reading under-21 side took on Manchester City's side this week, Dominic Samuel scored a cracker.
At just 18, Reading teenager Dominic Samuel is making a name for himself.
The south-London born striker scored a superb goal this week which has even attracted headlines in Spain, being compared to a goal by the great Diego Maradona.
Fortunately it was the solo goal at the 1986 World Cup they are talking about, rather than the 'Hand of God', although the lacklustre defending from City's side leaves a lot to be desired.
Samuel has bagged five goals for the under-21s this year, had a brief loan spell at Doncaster, and even made a substitute appearance in the Premier League back in December.
He may not score a better solo goal than this in his career, and you suspect his manager was screaming at him to 'pass it' several times during the run, only to be proved wrong.
