Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba starred in Juventus' Champions League win last night.
With a 3-0 first leg lead, there was little chance of Juventus being eliminated against Celtic last night, and so it proved as they ran out 2-0 winners.
Featuring in the starting line-up was former Manchester United youngster Paul Pogba who controversially quit Old Trafford last summer.
It was only his second start in the competition, and his club's path to the quarter-finals coupled with United's elimination may well cause him to feel smug.
Pogba had a good game, playing alongside Arturo Vidal and Andrea Pirlo, starting in place of Claudio Marchisio who was just one yellow card away from suspension.
Highly involved in the centre, up against Kenyan midfielder and reported United transfer target Victor Wanyama, two years his senior, Pogba more than held his own.
He completed five tackles, more than anybody else on the pitch, and made four interceptions, the joint highest of any Juventus player, performing a key role in helping his club successfully break down Celtic's attacks.
While he wasn't involved in either goal it was an assured and measured display, and he certainly did not look out of place on the highest stage, at just the age of 19.
Haunted by their own exit 24 hours earlier, there were plenty of United fans watching on, and they had their own views of Pogba's display.
Here is a variety of what they had to say via Twitter:
@teamsixsmith: Really wish we had tried harder to keep Pogba.. He is going to be one hell of a player.. Could have played a lot of games this season
#MUFC why let Pogba go just like that ..
@matt_proudfoot: I know he demanded ridiculous wages but it would have been quite fun to keep Pogba
@redmanchester19: The sad thing is Pogba is exactly what we need.
@a_mcalevey: Wasn't happy when United let Pogba go so easily but now I'm just plain gutted!! The man has it all! He'd start for us now like
How good can Pogba go on and become?
