Barclays has announced the appointment of a new experienced hire to the Court of Protection team within its Wealth and Investment Management division.
The Court of Protection team specialise in dealing with individuals and their families who have been impacted by major injury, and also in working with their legal representatives both during the litigation process and when acting as professional deputy and trustee.
Richard McGregor, a Chartered Financial Planner, joins Barclays from Towry, where for the last five years he was responsible for the personal injury and clinical negligence offering for the London and South East region. Richard has also worked closely with a number of charities in the sector, such as Action against Medical Accidents, the Child Brain Injury Trust and Headway, and intends to continue this work at Barclays.
