Is this German teenager as good as Ronaldo or Bale?

Amin Younes of Borussia Monchengladbach could be the best teenage winger in German football. Could he follow in the footsteps of Ronaldo at Manchester United or Bale at Tottenham?

Amin Younes bagged a goal against Borussia Dortmund yesterday to secure a point for his side against a huge opponent.

This youngster is only 19-years-old, he’s been at the club for his entire career and he is yet to make his debut for Germany at any level, although is also eligible to play for Lebanon.

There are several reasons he’s one of the best winger prospects in the Bundesliga and any side interested in him could quickly make a move before his profile grows again.

The striking feature of his play is his pace and how he controls the ball while he’s moving at great speed.

He’s very similar to other great wingers like Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Nani and plenty of others in terms of the way he drives at a full back and puts them onto the back foot.

At the moment he has a very slight frame, which means any Premier League side looking for a winger to invest in, would have to spend time helping him develop and get stronger.

His record for the first team at Monchengladbach is currently one goal in three games so it’s very early days but there are several clubs who may invest in him.

Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, any of the top clubs in England could put Younes in their academy, youth teams or reserve teams and he’d do a job.

He has the potential to be explosive over the next few years which means Monchengladbach have to get him on a long term contract now so they can cash in when the time comes.

He’s only appeared off the bench for the German side this season which means the time is ripe for any side who may want to try and poach a young player with undoubted talent.

Could you see any side taking a risk on him?
