All of the latest Liverpool news.

Central defender Martin Skrtel has called on Liverpool fans to help the side through the rest of the season. Skrtel has claimed the fans can help the club overcome a 2-0 deficit against Zenit St Petersburg in the second leg at Anfield this week after they were well beaten in Russia.

Fabio Borini’s agent says the striker will not be leaving the club this summer. Rumours have started to spread that Liverpool may look to move the Italian on in the summer after a season plagued by injury which has kept Borini from playing a full role for the club.

Liverpool full back Jose Enrique says he is confident the team can beat Zenit St Petersburg and progress to the last 16 of the Europa League. Liverpool currently trail the Russian side 2-0 but the Spanish defender claims the tie is far from over and Liverpool have the advantage of playing at home this week.

Former Denmark midfielder Claus Jensen has suggested Christian Eriksen would thrive at Liverpool in the Premier League. Liverpool are one of several clubs to have been linked with Eriksen following the news he would not sign the new contract offer put before him by Ajax.

Goalkeeper Pepe Reina has distanced himself from speculation that he’s off to Spain. Reina has been linked with a high profile move to Barcelona to replace Victor Valdes, but he has insisted that he’s happy at Liverpool and fully committed to the club for as long as they want him.

Former Liverpool great John Aldridge has suggested Fabio Borini needs to start mentally preparing for next season. Borini’s season is practically over after he suffered a dislocated shoulder in the weekend win against his former side Swansea City.

Ali Al Habsi is still being linked with a summer move to Liverpool, despite the apparent commitment of Pepe Reina. The Wigan goalkeeper has been on Liverpool’s radar for several months but a move could now be in doubt as Reina has admitted he’s not thinking about leaving.

Brendan Rodgers is expected to go back to former club Swansea City for permission to sign central defender Ashley Williams. Rumours have been growing since the weekend, suggesting Williams could become a Liverpool player in the summer as a replacement for Jamie Carragher.

Dani Pacheco continues to make a positive impression at second division Spanish side SD Huesca. Pacheco is currently on loan at the club after failing to make it into Brendan Rodgers’ first team plans this season. Pacheco has played three games for the club and already has his first goal.
