Brazilian press hail Coutinho's Liverpool goal on his first start

Liverpool demolished Swansea yesterday and Anfield, and while there were plenty of reasons to be positive - the impact from Coutinho was among the highlights.

Liverpool fans have had to be patient for Coutinho to get his first start after his arrival from Inter Milan in late January, but the exciting winger showed yesterday it was worth the wait.

The Brazilian scored the Reds second in the 5-0 demolition of Swansea, early in the second half, an excellent run and striker after being set free by Luis Suarez's pass.

Swansea did give Liverpool a helping hand by fielding a weakened team, concentrating on the upcoming Capital One Cup Final, but Liverpool were excellent and unusually clinical.

It was Coutinho's second appearance in a Liverpool shirt, having previously just had 10 odd minutes or so as a substitute in the home defeat to West Brom.

His showing certainly will have got Liverpool supporters excited for the future and what he has to bring to the side, and over in his homeland he has been creating headlines too. Here's some of what the media outlets in Brazil had to say:
