The Real Madrid XI to face Manchester United

How will Real Madrid line-up at the Bernabeu against Manchester United?

Reports in Spain claim Jose Mourinho has already chosen his starting XI for tomorrow night's big clash at the Bernabeu.

Marca have gone as far as to reveal that XI, and for your benefit, here it is:

                                                      Diego Lopez

              Arbeloa               Pepe                  Sergio Ramos            Coentrao

                                          Xabi Alonso              Khedira

                     Di Maria                              Ozil                          Ronaldo

Analysis: There are two notable omissions in this line-up, firstly being Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain. It was always going to be a straight choice between himself and Benzema, but he showed by scoring twice for his country last week he is in fine form, and will remain a threat off the bench.

The other is Kaka, but this isn't a surprise, more notable because of his supreme talent. Given his past success against United, they will probably be glad to be seeing him, although finding a way to stop Mesut Ozil is going to be a tough task.

Two players in the Madrid side are nursing injuries, Pepe is just about fit after a five week absence because of an ankle injury, replacing Raphael Varane, but will be lacking match fitness.

Xabi Alonso, one of two former Liverpool players in the team alongside Arbeloa, is also suffering after missing training with the team on Monday, complaining of pain in the pelvic area. He will play through it, but perhaps United should have slight reason for encouragement.

What do you think of this proposed Madrid line-up? Can United beat them?
