Miami Heat demolished the LA Lakers last night in the NBA - And it was an entirely predictable outcome.
Before the season this was the game many were predicting would be the NBA Championship Final Series - but the Lakers wretched form makes that highly unlikely.
Heat trounced the Lakers by a score of 107-97, taking their home record this season to 22 wins and just three losses.
LeBron James was, as always, the star, setting a franchise record in the process.
He became the first player in Heat history to score 30 points or more in five consecutive games, something no NBA player had done since 1982, and which had been accomplished just twice ever.
James ended up with 32 points, four assists and seven rebounds, while teammate Dwayne Wade also hit 30 points in the win. LeBron James top scored for the Lakers with 28.
Big results in the NBA last night saw the Spurs beat the Nets, the Clippers beat the Knicks, and the Celtics beat the Nuggets.
