David Alaba scored twice for Bayern Munich as they extended their already huge lead at the top of the Bundesliga table with a 4-0 thrashing over Schalke on Saturday.
Alaba opened the scoring from the penalty spot after just 19 minutes to continue his superb season and then added a second shortly after the half-time break, after Bastian Schweinsteiger had doubled Bayern's lead with a free-kick.
Mario Gomez completed the scoring in the 63rd minute as Bayern took full advantage of second-placed Borussia Dortmund's loss to Hamburg.
Dortmund started well when Robert Lewandowski put the hosts ahead after 17 minutes but things went wrong quickly as Rudnevs and Son Heung-min put Hamburg ahead.
Things went from bad to worse shortly after as Lewandowski was then dismissed in the 31st minute.
Jeffrey Bruma was sent off in the 59th minute to even the numbers but Rudnevs and Son both scored again in the second half to compell Dortmund to a bitter defeat.
Third-placed Bayer Leverkusen drew 3-3 with Borussia Monchengladbach. Wolfsburg defeated rock-bottom Greuther Furth 1-0 courtesy of Bas Dost's 23rd-minute goal and third bottom Hoffenheim lost 1-0 at Hannover.
