Conti hoping to get the better of Toni's Fiorentina

Juventus Serie A

A look ahead to Juventus's tie with Fiorentina on Saturday in Serie A, a tie coach Antonio Conte is determined to win.

Juventus will fly to Scotland for a Champions League meeting with Celtic just 24 hours after facing Fiorentina in Turin this weekend in a week that will test the strength and quality of Antonio Conte's side.

The Old Lady have performed well this season so far and will be hoping for a final push as they hope to successfully defend the Serie A title and possibly win a double if they beat Celtic and progress in the competition.

The Juve boss told Gazzetta.it: "We'll make sure we don't lose any sleep because we have to go again at Roma on Saturday.

"Normally they would have let us play that game on Sunday night or even on Monday. What's the rush to play another league game?

"I don't want to be controversial, it just worries me that we will play three games in seven days."

Defeat on Saturday to Vicenzo Montella's Fiorentina could allow second place Napoli the chance to catch Juve at the top of the table and Conte knows the game will be a tough challenge.

"A few paths intersect tomorrow," Conte added. "Fiorentina are chasing a Champions League place while Lazio and Napoli are fighting us for the Scudetto, which is a big challenge."

The Italian boss will be without quartet Claudio Marchisio, Simone Pepe, Giorgio Chiellini and striker Nicklas Bendtner who are all injured, whilst Leonardo Bonucci is suspended.

A man returning to Turin to face his former club is Luca Toni, a man who spent his childhood dreaming of playing for Juventus but he has spoken of his determination to dent their title chances.

He told the Corriere dello Sport: "I was a Juventus fan from a young age but when I moved to Modena I just started supporting the team I was playing for.

"What happened in Turin? I injured myself during my second game for the club and (Luigi) Del Neri told me not to give up. But then (Antonio) Conte arrived and told me to pack my bags.

"We can make history," he added. "We are strong and we give every opponent we face a lot of trouble. No one has ever truly dominated us and in the reverse fixture we dominated them."
