Arsenal probably don't regret letting this former striker go, but Jeremie Aliadiere has issued a reminder of his once so promising talent.
So what's former Arsenal striker Jeremie Aliadiere up to nowadays?
The answer, smashing in wondergoals, that's what.
Of course the full answer is not quite so simple, but that's exactly what he did last weekend for Lorient - And his striker has been voted Goal of the Week by L'Equipe readers.
Having signed him from the Clarefontaine Academy in France, Arsenal had high hopes that he would emulate Nicolas Anelka and Thierry Henry.
Injury limited his opportunities and after loans to Celtic, West Ham and Wolves, he signed for Middlesbrough in 2007.
It was a largely unhappy time for him, scoring just 12 goals in three seasons, and signed back for Lorient in 2011.
Last season he played alongside Arsenal loanee Joel Campbell, but this campaign he is finally enjoying his football, scoring his ninth of the season against Rennes.
