Crystal Palace, Leicester City, Hull City and Brighton all feature.
Crystal Palace are closing in on the signing of versatile front man George Boyd from Peterborough United. Palace have been looking for attacking support and now have to agree personal terms with Boyd before he completes his medical ahead of a permanent switch.
Leicester City have confirmed that talented 20-year-old forward Jeff Schlupp will remain with Manchester United until the end of this month. The player has been training with United to enhance his experience and the two clubs have extended an agreement that runs until the end of this week.
Crystal Palace are reportedly preparing a move for Dundee United striker Johnny Russell. Palace seem to be spending the money they’ve received for Wilfried Zaha by eyeing up moves for several attacking players in attempts to maintain their push for Premier League promotion.
Hull City seem to be closing on the signing of Egyptian international striker Gedo ahead of transfer deadline day. Hull have been linked with the Al Ahly front man since their attempts to sign DJ Campbell fell through. However, Steve Bruce has said there is only a slim chance they will get the deal done in time.
Brighton have signed Iceland Under-19 international Emil Asmundssen on a two-and-a-half-year contract. The 18-year-old midfielder will join immediately from Icelandic side Fylkir and will go into the youth team system at the club where it’s hoped he’ll progress eventually into the senior team.
Sheffield Wednesday have confirmed that Rodri has had his contract at the club cancelled by mutual consent. The former Barcelona B player only joined the club during the summer and is now a free agent if he wants to approach another English club or return to Spain.
Ipswich Town have completed the loan signing of Richard Stearman from Wolves. The defender has previously played under current Ipswich boss Mick McCarthy, which he said made the decision much easier. He has signed with Ipswich on loan until the end of the season.
