QPR - 9-Year-Old: It Wasn't Worth Even £5-a-Ticket

Thumbs Down

Anticipation was in the air as 3pm approached at Loftus Raod this afternoon. 'We'll get at least four', the guy behind said as the QPR side emerged from the tunnel.

MK Dons scored early (4 minutes) with their first shot, but no sweat - there was a long way to go. QPR were dominant, although no-one seemed to want to pull the trigger.

2-0 at 40 minutes (with MK Dons' second shot on goal), but still no panic. An early goal in the second half would change the game. Just 11 minutes after the break, however, and the away side were 4-0 up. Several QPR fans left at that point, and the stream hitting the exits continued right up until the last few minutes, when QPR got two back. But it was all too little, too late.

QPR were woeful, and the crowd made their feeling knowns about the performances of Green, Ferdinand and Park, who was substituted to a mixture of cheers and boos, in particular.

'Rubbish', said the 9-year-old sitting a few seats away.

'It only cost you £5', the guy behind pointed out'.

'Still rubbish', the 9-year-old came back, 'And certainly not worth £5'.
