Barcelona, Roma, AC Milan, Lazio, Bayern Munich, Schalke 04, Juventus, Shakhtar Donetsk, Besiktas, Napoli and Hajduk Split feature.

Barcelona reportedly have a secret weapon in the quest to bring Brazilian superstar Neymar to the club. The club are reportedly ready to ask full-back Dani Alves to speak to the Santos forward about his future when they meet up for international duty next month. The two are reportedly close friends amongst the national team group and amid rumours that Bayern Munich may look to steal a march on one of the most wanted men in world football Blaugrana are trying to ensure they still remain the 20-year-olds first choice.

AS Roma forward Mattia Destro has refused to rule out a future move to AC Milan. The striker has been one of Serie A’s most impressive breakout players this season and that has led to several questions about his future with the club. He did however make it very clear that any such deal would not be happening in the near future as he hopes to earn qualification for the Champions League in the capital this season.

Juventus are now on the verge of agreeing a deal to bring Nicolas Anelka to the club. The former Arsenal and Chelsea man is currently discussing the cancellation of his contract with current club Shanghai Shenhua of China. The Old Lady snapped up a deal that will see Fernando Llorente arrive in the summer from Athletic Bilbao and are believed to want a cheap striking option for the rest of the season.

Napoli are on the verge of snapping up Croatian international Josip Radosevic from Hajduk Split according to the player himself. The 18-year-old has been compared to former Serie A stalwart Gennaro Gattusso in playing style and a deal could be completed within the next week.

Lyon and Schalke 04 are still struggling to agree on a fee for Brazilian international Michel Bastos. It was previously believed a deal was imminent with all parties, the player included, reported to be keen on a deal. However the two clubs are still attempting to thrash out the specifics of a deal with Schalke insisting they have yet to make an official approach for the player.

Shakhtar Donetsk are said to be looking to add to their Brazilian contingent after rumours linking them with a big money bid for Lazio midfielder Hernanes. The Brazilian international has been in top form in Serie A this season. The move would be worth in excess of £20 million and friends of the midfielder have claimed he could make the move.

Meanwhile the Ukrainian champions have allowed another Brazilian, Dentinho, the chance to play regular first team football on loan at Besiktas.

Finally now and from a global perspective the long awaited transfer of Juan Roman Riquelme to Brazilian outfit Palmeiras will NOT be happening. The Brazilian side have a new club president and he is not keen on a deal.
