Which players should be sent packing from Loftus Road this January?
QPR boss Harry Redknapp has been linked with numerous amounts of transfer activity this month and has already pulled off a coup by bringing in Loic Remy ahead of Premier League rivals Newcastle United. While the loss of Ryan Nelsen may have been something he had wished to avoid he has moved on Djibril Cisse to Al-Gharafah of Qatar while talks are on-going that would see Anton Ferdinand join fellow Englishman Scott Carson in Turkey.
But who else should he consider trimming from the squad?
Most QPR fans would not mind seeing the back of the Portuguese international. He arrived from Chelsea this summer on a wave of optimism but has been poor on the pitch and off of it his behaviour and disrespect toward the manager, club and the fans has been abysmal and getting him off the books should be a priority for Redknapp.
The 24-year-old has never made a serious dent on the QPR first team since his move from West Ham and surely he needs to consider moving away from Loftus Road to progress his career. He has been linked with a move to New York Red Bulls and several lower league teams in and around the London area.
One of several strikers at the club whom Redknapp must be considering sending on their way. He has just come back from a very productive spell on loan at Ipswich Town where he scored 10 goals in 17 appearances and is now a major target for Hull City.
Simply put Rob Hulse is just not Premier League standard. A journeymen striker he has certainly done the rounds across the football league in his career and it would seem this is certainly the destination for him. He has been linked with a move back to his hometown club Crewe Alexandra and the 33-year-old may need to consider more than just one step down the football ladder.
How on earth Bothroyd ever got an England cap will always remain a mystery. However like Hulse and Campbell he is yet another journeyman striker who is simply not Premier League standard. He has recently grabbed a couple of goals for the club but still it is hard to consider him a regular member of a Premier League team.
Would you let any of these five go? Should Luke Young be included on the list or does he deserve a second chance?
