The Sun believes that Mario Balotelli’s agent has held talks with representatives from AC Milan ahead of a potential move this January. Mino Raiola was spotted at the offices of Milan which has fuelled this speculation and an offer of £24 million would be enough to persuade City to move the problem striker on - despite Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi calling the 22-year-old a rotten apple earlier in the month.
The Mirror is reporting that West Brom are joining the host of clubs chasing Liverpool misfit Sebastian Coates. The Uruguayan international is reportedly available for loan and Steve Clarke worked with the 22-year-old when he first arrived at Anfield. Any move would be with the intent of a permanent deal in the summer based on an impressive showing and would give the Baggies scope to send Craig Dawson on loan to Bolton and cover in case Jonas Olsson forces a move to QPR.
Danny Graham is reportedly wanted by both Swansea and Norwich City. With Swansea pursuing Sunderland striker Kenwyne Jones and Graham already behind Michu in the pecking order under Michael Laudrup he is considered unsettled at the club and it is reported that £5 million bids from Sunderland and Norwich were both submitted yesterday, reports The Independent.
Norwich are also in the hunt for Celtic striker Gary Hooper who has also been the subject of a £5 million bid for his services.
In a surprising move the Independent also reports that Manchester United have taken Ghanaian international Jeffrey Schlupp on trial from Leicester City. The 20-year-old left-sided player is barely a regular at the King Power Stadium but has been given the opportunity to impress at the clubs Carrington training ground ahead of a potential dream move to Old Trafford.
Sunderland released Louis Saha yesterday and it seems they are now ready to move another striker out the exit door at the Stadium of Light. Many sources are reporting that one-cap England international Fraizer Campbell is about to complete a cut-price move to Championship promotion challengers Cardiff City. The deal is believed to be worth in the region of £650k and would hopefully improve Cardiff’s recent scoring form.
According to Goal.com Manchester United have made the first bid in the battle to sign Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace. A reported offer of £6 million was made by The Red Devils for the England youngster who favours United over Arsenal. The Eagles are holding out for a figure nearer £10 million.
Maurice Edu has completed a loan move to Turkish side Bursaspor as a replacement for Sunderland new-boy Alfred N’Diaye. The American only arrived at the Britannia this summer but has failed to establish himself in the squad.
