All of the latest news about Liverpool.

Raheem Sterling may have to make way for Daniel Sturridge as Liverpool prepare to face Norwich City tomorrow. It is heavily expected that Brendan Rodgers will name both Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez in his team which will mean Suarez take a wider attacking role normally occupied by Sterling.

Norwich City boss Chris Hughton has singled out Luis Suarez for special attention ahead of the match at Anfield tomorrow. Hughton has described Suarez as one of the most consistent strikers in the Premier League this season. Suarez scored a hat-trick when the sides met at Norwich earlier in the season.

Liverpool have seemingly admitted they are out of the race to sign Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder. There had been hope the Dutchman would move to Anfield but Galatasaray seem to have the green light to sign him as Liverpool were reluctant to meet his wage demands.

Brendan Rodgers has demanded a higher level of consistency from his team. Rodgers has been impressed with some of Liverpool’s football and performances this season but has suggested the only way the club will progress, is if they can produce more consistent and solid performances.

Brendan Rodgers has leapt to the defence of striker Daniel Sturridge. There have been questions over the attitude and the personality of the striker since he signed on a long term deal from Chelsea but Rodgers has said the criticism of his striker is unfounded and unfair.

Liverpool target Christian Eriksen has been offered a new contract by current club Ajax. Eriksen has been courted by a variety of Premier League clubs and the news could force Liverpool into making a bid for the midfielder before the close of the January transfer window.

Liverpool legend Jan Molby has criticised the club’s transfer policy and suggested they need to sign more players for the present. Liverpool’s managing director Ian Ayre recently said the club would rule out signing anyone older than 23/24 and Molby has suggested this will keep Liverpool behind their main rivals.

England international midfielder Jack Wilshere has described Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard as the perfect role model. Wilshere has revealed how he wants to emulate the success and respect that Gerrard has earned during his time as Liverpool skipper.
