Manchester United, Queens Park Rangers, Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal have all been linked with talents from Serie A this January.
Andrea Pirlo's performance for Italy in last summer's Euro 2012 competition has seen the return of many European sides casting an eye over some of the country's young talents.
Here are 10 Serie A stars that could find themselves playing England soon...
1) Ignacio Abate
It is rumoured that Abate is free to leave AC Milan for just £8m and if that is true then plenty of Premier League should be jumping at the chance to shine the Italian international. His performances during Euro 2012 and for Milan this year have been superb and at only 26 the right back still has a big future.
2) Alejandro Gomez
The 24-year-old Argentine winger has been in superb form for Catania this season and has gained interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs. Yet to earn a national call-up but he is another one in a long list of brilliant Argentine playmakers.
3) Steven Jovetic
Steven Jovetic is one of those players who are far more intelligent on the field for their age. Five years spent learning at Fiorentina has seen him become one of the Italian games most talked about stars and interest from Manchester City is continuing to gain pace.
4) Radja Nainggolan
The 24-year-old Belgian midfielder began his career with Piacenza before joining Cagliari where he has really improved. Capped three times for the Belgium national side, Nainggolan would suit the Premier League because of his strength, hardworking attitude and physique.
5) Ishak Belfodil
It's fair to say, Ishak Belfodil has come out of nowhere. At 21 you would have expected the Algerian to have been mentioned before hand but his lack of playing time before he joined Parma kept him as one of Serie A's best kept secrets. Six goals in 17 games this season have seen him become a huge prospect.
6) Angelo Ogbonna
You would have seen young Angelo during the Euro 2012 competition but unfortunately not on the field. The Italian born defender who has Nigerian descent has been superb for Torino this season and at 24-years-old, he has played in over 100 games. Experienced.
7) Mauro Zarate
Now the names on this list are becoming a bit more familiar, we look at Mauro Zarate. The much talked about Argentine playmaker has been linked with QPR, Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool recently after some brilliant displays of late but a stumbling block could be his asking price.
8) Bojan Krkic
No-one knows exactly where Bojan will end up next season. Back to Barcelona, to Roma or maybe staying with Milan but if all three refuse to make an approach then the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea may try and add his quality to their squads.
9) Stephan El Shaarawy
17 goals in 28 games for Milan this season, El Shaarawy or The Pharaoh is considered to be an up-and-coming, potential world class player. His stock has somewhat risen this season though but the likes of Man City and Chelsea may stump up the cash for one of football's biggest talents.
10) Edinson Cavani
Finally, everybody's new striker Edinson Cavani. From Barcelona to FC Basel, Cavani has been linked with just about every club so far this season. 91 goals in 118 games for Napoli is a record that speaks for itself and his talent would supply any English team with goals.
Which of these 10 do you most want to see in the Premier League?
