Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, QPR, Reading, Fulham, Liverpool, Everton and Arsenal could take notice of these potential transfer opportunities.
Here are 10 players who could have an impact on the Premier League; including some familiar faces.
1) Alan Dzagoev
Apparently the Russian has turned his attention to a Serie A move with Roma but Tottenham Hotspur were previously heavily linked with his signature.
Since the summer however things have turned sour for Dzagoev. After receiving a lengthy ban for punching Luke Wilshere he has fallen behind Zoran Tosic, Ahmed Musa and Keisuke Honda in the pecking order leaving his exit far more likely than it was six months ago.
2) Roman Pavyluchenko
Reports of a spat with Slaven Bilic are apparently wide of the mark but after struggling for form he featured sparingly in 2012. Reading are being mooted as a potential destination while a reunion with Harry Redknapp at QPR should not be ruled out.
3) Reto Ziegler
Technically this would in fact be a deal with Juventus but he is currently on loan at Lokomotiv Moscow from the Italian champions. After becoming a league favourite during his time with Sampdoria his move to Juve has not been a hit; in two seasons he has not played a single game! He is being linked with a permanent move away and with John Arne Riise apparently on the brink of being cast asunder the Swiss international could reunite with former gaffer Martin Jol at Craven Cottage.
4) Lacina Traore
The giant Anzhi striker has been consistently linked with a move to Liverpool but considering his involvement at the Afcon 2013 and potential price-tag the rumours that Liverpool will wait till the summer seem more believable.
5) Igor Denisov
Denisov has had a pretty explosive 2012. After effectively forcing himself into strike action over the clubs purchase of Hulk he courted more controversy by refusing to listen to the national anthem when facing Anzhi Makhachkala of the controversial republic of Dagestan (that or he had very cold ears). Regardless he is a very talented player and when he looked on his way out of Zenit everyone from Manchester City to Chelsea were being linked with a move. Things appear to have cooled with the club so this may be a long shot.
6) Jonathan Legear
The Terek Grozny winger was Russia’s public enemy number one after he drunkenly drove his Porsche into petrol station in October. Once thought of as one of Belgium’s hottest talents could he join the growing contingency in the Premier League after swearing off the booze?
7) Keisuke Honda
Reportedly ready to move on from Russia the Japanese international is a marketing dream; oh and he is a dab-hand at football as well. His contract expires in 18 months and CSKA will not want to risk losing him for nothing.
8) Felipe Caicedo
The former Manchester City striker has been superb since arriving in Russia and it is hard to believe he is still just 24-years-old. A move to Dortmund is apparently on the cards but any number of Premier League teams would do well to snap this player up.
9) Igor Akinfeev
The Russian stopper has been a long term transfer target for Premier League clubs; and with good reason considering his talent. It is now being reported that Juventus are preparing to bring him in as a Buffon replacement; news which may alert Manchester United and Chelsea back to his services.
10) Tomas Necid
Another CSKA player being linked with a move away the Czech forward has a contract that is fast running down to expiry. He has previously been linked with Liverpool and after his club re-signed Vagner Love competition for places has never been harder.
