Manchester United striker Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez is a target for Atletico Madrid, according to reports. Atletico are lining up the Mexican as a replacement for Falcao, who is expected to exit this summer to either Chelsea or PSG. Atletico also face losing Adrian Lopez to Arsenal and will be looking for a new number one striker, and that star billing may tempt Old Trafford understudy Hernandez.
QPR are looking like favourites to sign Loic Remy, write the Independent, after matching Newcastle's offer for the Marseille star. Current teammate Joey Barton declared on twitter last night that Remy would be joining QPR and are thought to be willing to offer a higher wage package. However it has also been claimed an unnamed third club are also trying to hijack the deal. QPR are also hoping to clinch a deal for Rennes midfielder Yann M'Vila.
Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing Palermo attacking midfielder Josip Ilicic to bolster their attack, report The Mail. The 24-year-old Slovenian was once a target for Chelsea, and has five goals in all competitions this season so far.
Chelsea are willing to loan out two players, Marko Marin and Lucas Piazon, the Mail also claim. Neither player is considered a regular, and the Blues are prepared to allow them to leave until the end of the season in search of regular first team football.
Liverpool face trouble bringing in Molde defender Vegard Forren for a trial, with a view to a £4 million move. The centre-back was due to undergo a medical at Anfield today and try to show Brendan Rodgers he is worth the outlay. However Southampton have hijacked the move, with the BBC reporting he has instead travelled to the south coast to complete the deal instead.
Arsenal want to sign West Ham midfielder Mohamed Diame, claim The Sun. Diame is currently out injured but had been arguably the Hammers best player this season prior to that and is expected back within a month. It is widely reported he has a £3.5 million buyout clause in his contract, with Newcastle and Liverpool both interested.
Swansea want to steal in front of Liverpool to sign Tom Ince, it is being reported. Liverpool have failed to meet his £7 million asking price and the Swans are said to be strongly considering an offer for the Blackpool winger.
Sunderland have clinched a loan deal for Kader Mangane. The defender signs from Saudi club Al Hilal and the 29-year-old hopes to earn a permanent move in the summer.
