We start our Sunday recap of transfer gossip in North London where Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is reported to be resigned to losing Gareth Bale at the end of this season.
Real Madrid have been extremely keen on the Welsh winger during the course of the season and Bale himself has admitted his desire to play for the reigning Spanish champions. A bid of around £55m has been mentioned by the Sunday Express but Madrid are looking to pay just half of that.
Meanwhile across the capital, Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha is getting closer and closer to a move to Manchester United with the Old Trafford club reportedly willing to pay his asking price of £15m.
Liverpool have made a last gasp attempt to sign Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder who was close to a sensational move from Inter Milan to Galatasaray. The Reds are keen to add a little more creativity to their attacking options and have identified Sneijder as the man to do just that, however, his wage demands continue to be a problem.
Over in Spain, Atletico Madrid are ready to bring Fernando Torres back home and have sounded out Chelsea for an asking price. The Metro believes the capital club could re-sign Torres for a cut-price £25m.
Newcastle United have finally had a bid accepted by Marseille for Loic Remy as they desperately try and replace Demba Ba.
Meanwhile, Queens Park Rangers are keen on Yann M'Vila after the French badboy lost interest from Arsenal and Juventus due to his behaviour.
Aston Villa are to refuse to sell £24m club record signing Darren Bent to any of their relegation rivals and Ashley Cole has told Chelsea that he wants to remain in the Premier League next season.
