We start our round-up of Saturday's tranfer gossip in the capital where West Ham United striker Carlton Cole has been linked with a move away from the club. Both Reading and Norwich are interested after Sam Allardyce confirmed the former England striker is free to leave the the Hammers.

Moving across town to Tottenham Hotspur who are about to renew their interest in Shakhtar Donetsk's Willian. The Brazilian playmaker has failed to arrive back at the Russian club following the winter break and with the arrival of another Brazilian, Taison, his departure now seems likely.

From one player who might arrive at White Hart Lane to one who left last summer, Luka Modric. The Croatian midfielder has failed to impress at Real Madrid and is linked with a move back the Premier League with Chelsea preparing a £22m offer.

One of England's biggest prospects Tom Ince is set to leave Blackpool and join either Swansea or Liverpool for around the £7m mark and Newcastle have approached West Ham for defender James Tomkins.

In the Midlands, Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert is desperately trying to bring some much needed experience to his squad and has indicated Man City's Joleon Lescott and Scott Parker as options.

Meanwhile, across town, Championship side Birmingham are keen on finally selling Nikola Zigic who continues to dominate their wage bill, however, they have rejected a bid from Spanish side Villarreal.

And finally, no transfer round-up is complete without Arsenal being linked to a player and this time, Arsene Wenger's side have shown interest in AC Milan utilty man Urby Emanuelson.
