Newcastle fans hijack new Chelsea striker Demba Ba's Twitter Q & A

Newcastle United

New Chelsea striker and former Newcastle United hotshot held a question and answer session on Twitter yesterday.

And like most of these things, it predictably got sidetracked by pranksters determined to make wisecracks. And why not? If Demba Ba is going to put himself out there in a public question and answer session, he has to expect the curveball responses.

New Chelsea teammates and former Newcastle ones were the subject of ribbing from fans as Toon fans sought to get their messages seen by Ba on the #AskBa hashtag.

Without further ado, here is a selection of the best and worst quips from supporters...

@tellmemaaaaa: #AskBa Have you and papiss spoke yet? or do you not return his texts along with his passes?

@mariobaloltelli: Has John Terry tried it on with your wife yet? #AskBa

@reviewfootball: #AskBa How does it feel to play for club like Newcastle with quality finishers like Cisse, then have to make the drop down to Torres level?

@matty_wilson_: #AskBa Which #CFC chant is your favourite? The one where they sing Chelsea over and over or the one where they sing Chelsea over and over.

@toonteg: #AskBa How many days have you given your agents off before they start working on your next transfer?

@nufylamby: #AskBa How exciting was it playing with players like Danny Simpson and Mike Williamson?

@middletonandy: #AskBa why didn't you do your prayer celebration on Saturday?, is it cos they've been answered and your greed is now satisfied?

@tomstevensnufc:  I actually haven't seen one serious #AskBa question yet. Get in!

@leebest88: #AskBa after wondering what a threesome is actually like most of my adult life. What's it like to shaft 53'000 fans at once?

@davidharrison97: #askba have you finally realised that you will end up sitting on the bench?

@johnliddell1982: #askba do you spell your name with a silent "stard"

@bonjourmonamieNE: #AskBa If you were on a sinking ship, would you stick around and help plug the holes, or escape quick in a dinghy that pays £80,000 a week?
