New signing Daniel Sturridge could make his debut for Liverpool in the FA Cup tie away at Mansfield this weekend. Sturridge has just joined the club from Chelsea in a deal worth around £12 million. Brendan Rodgers is also set to hand starts to a number of the club’s younger players.
Defender Jose Enrique may struggle to be fit for the FA Cup clash against Mansfield Town this weekend with a hamstring problem. The Spaniard is thought to have picked up the slight problem just after the final whistle was blown in the match against QPR at the end of December.
The Daily Mirror has reported that Blackpool’s Tom Ince is trying to force a £5 million to Liverpool before his club’s FA Cup match against Fulham. It is widely expected that Ince will play for Blackpool if he is still at the club which would mean he is cup tied if he joins Liverpool at a later date.

Sterling has never played in an FA Cup game and he says it will be a dream come true if Brendan Rodgers selects him. However, many sources are suggesting Sterling may be rested for the match.
