Arsenal, Tottenham, Reading, Newcastle United, QPR, Chelsea and Fulham are all the talk of the papers today.

All the latest news and gossip from the past 24 hours...

Arsenal could be pipped to the signing of Zambian centre-back Stoppila Sunzu by the team they thrashed last week, Reading. The Royals have tabled a £3 million bid for the player, report The Metro, although the player's club are holding out for £5 million. Arsenal were favourites to sign him, although are reported to be 'dragging their feet' over the deal.

Rafa Benitez wants to sensationally bring Luis Suarez to Chelsea, report Spanish newspaper Marca. The Liverpool attacker is on a shortlist along with Sevilla's Alvaro Negredo and Mario Suarez of Atletico Madrid. Chelsea have also been linked with French goalkeeping free agent Mickael Landreau by L'Equipe.

LA Galaxy are closing in on the signing of Carlo Cudicini, according to reports in Los Angeles. It is claimed the Italian has agreed a two year deal with the goalkeeper, but have yet to agree terms with Tottenham.

Newcastle have agreed a deal for Loic Remy, report The Mirror. The Marseilles striker had also been interesting Spurs, QPR and West Ham but is ready to sign with the Toon in January. The fee is expected to be £10 million, and will pave the way for Demba Ba to leave the club in January.

Spurs are being linked with once Arsenal target Yann M'Vila, of Rennes. Sources in Europe claim the 22-year-old midfielder is wanted by Tottenham who are readying an offer of 8 million Euros.

Fulham boss Martin Jol is a determined man in the next transfer window. He says the club are not looking to sell any players, and are going to be 'inventive' over the coming weeks, looking for the same type of bargain which saw them bring Dimitar Berbatov to Craven Cottage.

Ex-Chelsea winger Salomon Kalou could head back to the Premier League this January after failing to find form at Lille. The Mirror report QPR are favourites to snap him up on loan.

Tom Ince is willing to wait out until the end of the season at Blackpool before deciding on his future, if Liverpool cannot agree a fee with his employers. There is a hitch between the two clubs over the price for the 20-year-old which has stalled the deal to bring the winger back to his former club.
