Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed to a class of Harvard academics the key to his success at Manchester United.
According to the manager his secret is :
“You can't always come in shouting and screaming. That doesn't work.”
Ferguson also praised both Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola who are both tipped to take over the manager’s post upon his retirement. He spoke in glowing terms of the Real Madrid manager and his former rival Pep Guardiola.
"Guardiola is an impressive guy. Jose is very intelligent, he has charisma, his players play for him, and I think I have most of those things, too, apart from his good looks.”
According to the Telegraph, Ferguson has had tanning booths installed at the United training ground in the hope to the players’ vitamin levels.
United transfer target Victor Wanyama has insisted he would relish the opportunity to face United in the Champion’s League – the UEFA draw for the final 16 fixtures takes place tomorrow.
United could face Real Madrid, Porto, AC Milan, Shakhtar Donetsk, Valencia, or Celtic.
According to reports United are interested in bringing German starlet Lars Bender to Old Trafford in the foreseeable future.
Meanwhile, Spanish giants Barcelona are reportedly interested in luring United striker Javier Hernandez to the Nou Camp, whilst United are also rumoured to be joining the race to sign Shakhtar Donetsk maestro Fernandinho who is understood to be on a target for rivals Manchester City.
Finally, out of favour striker Federico Macheda’s agent is understood to be preparing the Italian forward for a move to Spain.
