The agent of Barcelona winger Alexis Sanchez has ruled out an approach from Liverpool for the player. His agent said that the player has no desire to, and will not be leaving Barcelona any time soon and will fight for his place in the side at the Nou Camp.
Liverpool full back Jose Enrique says he would jump at the chance to try and convince Andres Iniesta to join Liverpool from Barcelona. Enrique made the comments while being quizzed for the club’s website and said Iniesta is the one player he would love to help join Liverpool.
An attempt to overturn the original Hillsborough inquest verdicts will be heard on December 19. The Attorney General is trying to overturn the original verdicts as a greater sense of justice over the lost lives of 96 Liverpool fans continues to be sought for.
