Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that Phil Jones is back in training and will go with the team to Turkey for their Champions League match against Galatasaray next week. Jones has been out of action since the start of the season due to a knee injury which he has only just recovered from.

Javier Hernandez looks set to start the Premier League match against Norwich City. Injuries to Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Persie mean that United are set to reward Hernandez for his good form in recent weeks with a starting place for the trip to Carrow Road this weekend. Rooney is most likely to drop to the bench.

Robin Van Persie may face a late fitness test ahead of the Premier League match at Norwich City this weekend. Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that Van Persie should be okay to play with striker Danny Welbeck on stand by to take his place if the Dutchman doesn’t make the starting line up.

Manchester United central defender Jonny Evans is set to miss the game at Norwich City. Evans was taken off during the recent Champions League win in Braga with a groin injury and is rated as 50/50 to be fit in time for the match tomorrow. It means Chris Smalling is set to start in defence with Rio Ferdinand.

Cole insists that the recent performances of Javier Hernandez have left Welbeck under pressure and he has to make a decision over how much he wants to fight for his place in the team.

Ronaldo has described Ferguson as a father figure and has revealed that he still has a great relationship with the United boss. United sold Ronaldo to his current club, Real Madrid, for £80 million.
