Houlihan Lokeyhas announced that Joe Mevorah has joined the firm as Managing Director in Financial Advisory Services (FAS).
Mevorah will be based in New York, reporting to Jack Berka, Senior Managing Director and Global Head of FAS. In this new role, Mevorah will oversee Financial Institutions coverage for FAS, working closely with the firm's Financial Institutions Group (FIG) in Corporate Finance.
Mevorah joins from Gleacher & Company, where he was most recently a managing director in its financial institutions group. Prior to Gleacher, Mevorah was a managing director in Sunrise Securities' financial Institutions group and a director in the debt capital markets group at Macquarie Securities.

Mevorah holds a B.S. in economics from the University of Maryland and an MBA in finance from George Washington University.
