Theo Walcott has broken his silence on his contract negotiations. He has declared he wants to stay a Gooner and go onto become a club legend like Thierry Henry. Walcott is into his final year of his contract and is free to speak to other clubs from January 1. He also claims the delays are 'not about the money' telling ITV that his last contract took more than six months to sort out. He also adds he wants to play up front rather than on the right wing.
Roberto Martinez has announced he is happy with the progress of Arsenal loanee Ryo Miyaichi at the DW Stadium despite him only playing a handful of minutes so far. However his cameo against Fulham at the weekend came in for specific praise.
