Here's what he has to say...
As a QPR fan I have to say I’m feeling quietly confident against a Spurs side that hasn’t won at home yet this season; the pressure will be on the North London club.
I still think the jury is out about AVB; I have to admit his tactics are strange to say the least. He plays a 4-2-3-1 formation and that will take time for the players to get used to; I would have thought he’d have learnt from his time at Chelsea that you don’t get much time in this league.
He has to learn to change the system when his team need to; 4-4-2 is tried and tested and any decent team should be able to play easily. Simple football is sometimes the answer.
I don’t think he’s been able to play his best team as the now permanent signing Emmanuel Adebayor hasn’t been fit. Clint Dempsey, who was signed on deadline day, is only just getting match fit.
The form of Jermaine Defoe is amazing; the man is a natural goal machine and he makes it look so easy. One player that will need to be watched is a young man called Andros Townsend; at 21 he is trying to force his way into the Tottenham first eleven.
He has been at Spurs all his professional life and yet his CV reads like a railway loan route; Yeovil Town, Leyton Orient, MK dons, Ipswich Town, Watford, Millwall, Leeds United and Birmingham City.
He doesn’t score a huge amount of goals but his wing play just gets better and better. After coming on for the last ten minutes against Lazio he’ll be chomping at the bit for a first team start.
QPR picked up a few injuries in their game against Chelsea; the defence will have a new look with Anton Ferdinand out for a week or two along with Fabio. The strongest part of the team I feel is the midfield and judging by the performance of them against the European Champions last week they will just get better.
Some Spurs fans say that Modric should have been replaced but I really don’t think he’s all that and in Clint Dempsey they have a better all round player. I can honestly see QPR nicking at the very least a point if not all three and putting more pressure on AVB.
