25 US Companies That Are Said To Have Paid Their CEOs More Than They Paid Uncle Sam In 2010

The Institute for Policy Studies claims in a new report that of last year’s 100 highest-paid U.S. corporate chief executives, 25 took home more in CEO pay than their company paid federal corporate income taxes.

The report claims that most of the companies registered substantial profits, yet actually came out ahead at tax time. They are said to have collected, on average, $304m in refunds from the IRS.
