With one week until transfer deadline day Here Is The City looks at the players from Liverpool who may be looking for a fresh start elsewhere.
Both the club and player have publicly stated they would be open to a move and the Danish national coach, Morten Olsen, has reportedly urged Poulsen to leave Liverpool. The issue is finding somebody to take him. Perhaps Roy Hodgson will take him back under his wing at West Brom and give the player a chance to prove a point?
Cole's move could not really have worked out any worse. His wages are a stumbling block to any loan or full transfer, so he must be prepared to take a cut. QPR have been linked with a move and he is a known favourite of Harry Redknapp if he can find a space for him at Spurs.
The Argentinean showed his talents with two hattricks at the end of last season, however he has failed to make it onto the pitch in Liverpool's opening two games. Liverpool's midfield is heavily congested and Rodriguez would get more games if he were to move.
Most of this 'churn' is still Kenny building his squad and removing those, mostly bargain basement players, acquired during the Hicks & Gillet era. So, Liverpool fans, would you like to see Liverpool's Messi given a fresh chance rather than moved on? What other players would you like rid of before the window slams shut?
