With one week until transfer deadline day Here Is The City looks at the players from Arsenal who are looking for a way out of the club to get regular first team football.
It's surprising to see this list so small but with the departures of Clichy, Nasri and Fabragas the number of 'senior' players at the club isn't that large. The only other two are Van Persie and Walcott, and both of these are no doubt buying their time as their contracts enter the final year at the end of this season. It highlights the plight of the squad and the need for reinforcements from other clubs, but Arsenal fans should be buoyed by the performances of Gervinho who looks to have settled in nicely and will offset the creative loss of Nasri and Fabregas.
The Dane has been 'days away' from clinching a move several times this summer, but deals with Roma and Sporting Lisbon have yet to be struck. Bendtner rates himself highly (ed: almost certainly too highly) and is unlikely to sign for another Premier League club and will probably end up abroad.
One year ago he was first choice at Arsenal and he's 'number 1' this season, yet Sczcesny's emergence has seen him confined to the bench. Fabianski didn't embarass himself last season either, and Wenger has admitted Almunia can leave if a deal can be struck.
Any other deals may only be loan deals for some of the younger players, with Vela and Denilson having already made their moves.
Arsenal fans, are there any players you'd like to see given the heave-ho before deadline day? Who do you want to see coming in?
