Four Players Looking to Leave Blackburn, Bolton & Wigan Before the Window Shuts

With one week until transfer deadline day Here Is The City looks at the players from Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic who may be looking for a fresh start elsewhere or targets for other clubs.

Christopher Samba:
Blackburn will be loathe to let go of one of their key defenders, especially without real time to replace him. A big bid from Arsenal or Spurs could sway the owners, and Samba himself will fancy the new challenge. Which ever way he goes he's widely tipped to be involved in the merry-go-round triggered by Arsenal's grab for a central defender.

Vince Grella:
The experienced Australian midfielder has already found himself on the fringes again this season, and with Blackburn themselves looking for new blood, Grella himself would be wise to look for a move elsewhere.

Gary Cahill:
A bid of £15 million even may not be enough to secure Cahill's services, but if a club were to offer nearer the 20 mark then business could be done. He has been strongly linked with Arsenal, but don't rule out Liverpool or Tottenham also chipping in with a deadline day bid. Another who may be caught up in the Arsenal central defender merry-go-round.

Chris Kirkland:
After shipping 11 goals in two games last year Kirkland found himself out on his ear. Now the club have permanently signed Al-Habsi the Englishman should look for a new club, and there will be many in the Championship willing to take him on.
