Broker Leaps To Death After Market Turmoil

Seoul South Korea - Sad to report a South Korean stockbroker, said to have worked for Kyobo Securities, leapt to his death from a high rise residential apartment building in Daegu early Wednesday morning.

South Korean police have identified the man by his family name only, Seo, and confirmed that he had been texting clients expressing his sorrow over their losses just minutes before he jumped from the building. He is not thought to have written a separate suicide note.

The scale of the losses themselves remain unknown.

According to Associated Press, South Korea has the highest suicide rate in the developed world.
