New York - Moelis & Company has announced the appointment of Alfred J. Puchala Jr. as a Managing Director advising public sector clients and institutional investors by delivering the Firm's capabilities to address their distinct strategic needs.
Based in New York, Puchala will work with bankers across the Firm's advisory businesses including Mergers & Acquisitions, Risk Advisory, Restructuring and Capital Markets to ensure the company provides integrated coverage for its public sector clients. In addition, he will work across the Firm's businesses to provide institutional investors with innovative solutions that will help create liquidity, realize value in their portfolios and address their other strategic priorities.

Puchala joins the Firm from Signal Equity Partners, a financial advisory and investment firm, where he was Co-Founder and a Managing Director. Previously, he worked at Lazard Freres & Co LLC as a telecommunications and technology banker on a broad variety of transactions including privatizations. He started his career at Morgan Stanley as an investment banker.
